So I've got another tip for you new agents out there, or you veteran agents that are just desensitized, maybe tired from the business after working in it for while. That's, when you receive an offer on a property that isn't exactly what you wanted, maybe it's a lowball, maybe doesn't have the right structure that you wanted, don't react emotionally. It's not your money, it's not your property, and you don't want to do anything to turn the buyers off the property, when maybe their first offer isn't close to what they're actually prepared to pay for it. So the best advice I can give, and I've been given this advice by some mentors of mine, was thank the other agent for their offer. You should be thankful, they are bringing you something on paper. Defer, talk to your clients, decide how you're gonna negotiate, or the path ahead, and then move forward from there. That might save your relationship with that other agent, and, again, give you some goodwill down the road for when you're on the other side of the transaction.
