His deep understanding of the markets in London, Grand Bend, Huron and Perth Counties, where he owns residential and commercial properties, is complemented by his impressive track record in managing an investment portfolio exceeding $60 million across Southwestern Ontario. Jon’s hands-on experience and knowledge from concept and design through to completion are significant assets for his clients, whether they are buying, selling or investing. His proficient understanding of investment strategies and building a real estate portfolio enhances his ability to guide clients effectively.
Having founded Baker Holdings Corporation in 2019, Jon successfully owns, oversees and manages numerous properties and businesses. His journey began with his post-secondary study of Business in London, where he made his first property investment. He renovated this initial property using skills he honed through his work with his construction tech classes as they built a home for Habitat for Humanity. His passion for real estate transactions and his love for construction and design are the perfect combination for a successful career in real estate. He began working in commercial real estate before transitioning to a brokerage that would enable him to demonstrate his expertise in both commercial and residential real estate. Later, he saw an opportunity to utilize these skills along with his passion for construction when he and a colleague started CONPRO Contracting LTD. This venture addressed the local need for construction and renovation services and provided Jon with increased knowledge to assist clients who wanted to build, purchase, renovate or flip properties.
Raised in Exeter, Jon was excited to return after his post-secondary education to advance his career and give back to the community. In addition to his real estate endeavors, he is actively involved as President of the Exeter Business Improvement Association, focusing on retaining and supporting existing businesses and attracting new businesses to Exeter. He proudly supports local causes such as the South Huron Hospital Association, Jessica’s House, Stratford’s annual Brian Sipple Memorial Tournament, various local charities and sporting teams and events. This commitment not only strengthens his community ties, but also reflects his dedication to making a positive impact in real estate and beyond.
